Robert Dyer, PT, DPT, PCS, WCC

Bio:

Robert Dyer, PT, DPT, PCS, WCC, is the Chief Executive Officer of Cozad Community Health System. After graduating with honors from Wayne State College in 1998, with a bachelor's degree in Chemical Science, Dyer attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he earned his Master of Physical Therapy degree, and graduated with distinction in 1998. Dyer’s physical therapy career started at a private practice outpatient clinic in the Nebraska panhandle before he accepted a position on the rehabilitation team at the Cozad Community Hospital one year later. In 2005, he attained his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree through the University of Nebraska Medical Center and became the Director of Physical Therapy. His focus on improving and providing services needed to those within his community and helped drive the development of an outpatient wound clinic at the hospital. In 2017, he was named the Executive Director of Outpatient Services while continuing to manage a full patient caseload. In 2022, Dyer was named the CEO of Cozad Community Health System.

Robert Dyer believes that service to the community and profession are both important. He has mentored many students as a clinical instructor, and currently helps teach the physical therapy integumentary curriculum in the classroom and labs at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Kearney, NE. He has served APTA Nebraska on the education committee, as Central District Chairman, Delegate and Chief Delegate. He currently serves on the Nebraska Hospital Association Foundation Board, is active in the local Cozad Rotary club and is currently the President of the Cozad Development Corporation. He is currently the Head Elder at their local church.
