Bio:
Chris Nichols has been the CEO of Fillmore County Hospital since 2017. In addition to being a 20-bed Critical Access Hospital, Fillmore County Hospital also operates a 10-bed Geriatric Psych Unit as well as numerous outpatient mental health services and programs. Prior to this role, he was CEO of Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove, IA from 2013-17. With a clinical background as a licensed physical therapist, Chris started his healthcare career as a PT in 1998 and worked in a variety of settings before getting into management and various administrative roles. He currently serves on the AHA Regional Policy Board, the NHA Board of Directors, the NHA Policy Development Committee, and the local Teammates Chapter and County Extension Boards.
